Sandy & Son is an apparel brand homegrown on the salt-sprayed South Shore of Massachusetts. I started it in the oceanside town of Cohasset where I live, dreaming up designs that feel like coastal New England life, with a true sense of place.

I’m a tide-chasing mom who probably spends too much time watching sailboats, collecting sea glass, and shaking sand out of my car mats. Sandy & Son grew out of never being able to find local, inspired clothing and accessories that reflect how my family, friends, and neighbors actually spend our days by the water.

My designs are rooted in the small details, colors, and nostalgia you recognize only if you really know this stretch of New England shoreline. Billowy hydrangea blooms, sun-faded picket fences, foggy morning ferry rides, winding dune paths, weathered gray shingles, twinkling lobster trap Christmas trees, and those long summer beach days that always seem to end with impromptu sunset pizza parties. Every piece—from sweatshirts to hats—tells a story about this place.

I started with Cohasset, but my history, heart, and sketchbook wander the whole New England coast—South Shore towns, Cape Cod, the Islands, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. These designs are for New England families and anyone who feels at home by the sea. Over time, you’ll see more town-specific collections join the mix, each with that same local, lived-in feel.

Sandy & Son is small on purpose. It’s just me, an overflowing pile of design ideas, and one very opinionated 7-year-old who loves to vote on which beaches, buoys, and lighthouses make the cut.
